Since it's my birthday and apparently I AM getting old (ie beyond sleepy at 9:30pm after a pretty normal day), I am giving myself the OK to NOT blog about anything today!
I will say this (and it relates to dog birthdays): 1 yr does NOT equal 7 years. It is truly dependent on many factors, the most important being size.
An 8 yr old Great Dane is at the END of his life span (for the majority of his breed). An 8 yr old chihuahua has another 8 years to go! There are other factors too - genetics, care, diet, etc. It's like people: you all know some that are 45 and look 28 and others that are 45 and look 65. Same thing with dogs.
